Anthony
Duke is a singer/songwriter of Anglo Irish descent, currently based in the UK, he's always happy to combine his love of
music with his love of travelling.
His dad (who played banjo and Ukulele) bought him his first Guitar when
he was 9, showed him a few chords and he worked the rest out for himself.
His musical influences are diverse
some of the main ones being The Eagles, Jackson Browne, Elvis, The Beatles, plus contemporary artists like Keith Urban and
Martina McBride, His core sound is Americana with a Celtic feel thrown in here and there.
Over the years Anthony has worked in most major studios in the
UK and had recording and publishing deals with both major and indie companies in the UK, Europe and USA, with songs published
by Warner/Chappell and Morrison Leahy Music. Working with co-writers and producers including Peter Collins [Bon Jovi, Leann
Rimes etc] Colin Thurston [Duran, Duran], Dave Ambrose [Fleetwood Mac, EMI) D-Side, Eric Stewart [10.cc],Richard Niles and
Bobby E Boyd [Rascal Flatts].
Anthony is in the process of finishing his new CD which is
a completely independent offering with tracks recorded in the UK and Nashville featuring May
You Be Loved co-written with Grammy award winner Bobby E Boyd.
Anthony will be out on the road promoting the
album once it's released
